A few cards

When there's only a few slivers of paper left, my best way to kill a kit is to make cards. I just killed Central High, which was a huge fave of mine. Here are the last few bits of it:

For my first Studio Calico subber birthday in June 2012 I had a huge give-away with items from all 12 kits I'd gotten so far. I packed two bags full of goodies to send out. You can find that post here! Another 6 months have passed. I have decided I will have these give-aways every half year instead, to keep the product from getting too old. This time the bag will contain kit-items from So Cal to Sock Hop. Open to all! Just leave me a comment below, and I will draw a winner next Friday, on February 25th.

Year in review

There was a ton of year in review layouts in the 2peas DT gallery last week, and I was really inspired by many of them. I decided to make my own 2012 layout. I had no plan while working on this page. I started with the title in the middle. Then I printed a collage, cut it apart and just stuck the pictures down in chronologial order. Some are on dimensional adhesive. Last I strated my journaling in the top left corner and just went around the photos, adding the monthly stickers as I went. This is how it came out:
